Congratulations! You and your dog are among the very first families in South Africa to experience Barry's Premium Pets before our official launch. We hope you'll enjoy being part of our journey and helping us create one of South Africa's leading premium pet brands.
Please complete the survey after having fed your dog Barry's for at least 10 days.
Feel free to share photos with us on the last page of this survey showing the results of your dog before and after feeding Barry's.
Transition to Barry's
To help your dog's digestive system adapt, gradually introduce Barry's over 7–10 days:
- Days 1–2: 75% current food + 25% Barry's
- Days 3–4: 50% current food + 50% Barry's
- Days 5–6: 25% current food + 75% Barry's
- Days 7–10: 100% Barry's
For dogs with sensitive stomachs: Some dogs—particularly older dogs or those with a history of digestive issues—may benefit from a slower transition over 14 days.
Always ensure fresh drinking water is available.
Important — Product Trial Acknowledgement & Consent
By participating in the Barry's Premium Pets Product Trial, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily providing your dog(s) with Barry's SUPERIOR Super Premium or PRIMA Premium dog food for the purpose of evaluating the products before their official launch.
You understand that, as with any change in a dog's diet, introducing a new food may result in individual reactions, including changes in stools, digestive upset, vomiting, diarrhoea, reduced appetite or other adverse reactions.
You agree to follow the recommended feeding instructions as noted under the Product Overview section of this page and the transition instructions provided by Barry's Premium Pets and to monitor your dog throughout the trial. If your dog experiences a significant or persistent adverse reaction, you agree to discontinue feeding the trial food and seek appropriate veterinary advice.
Before participating, please consult your veterinarian if your dog has a diagnosed medical condition, known food allergy or intolerance, is currently receiving veterinary treatment or medication, or is eating a therapeutic/veterinary diet.
You understand that individual dogs may respond differently to a new food and that participation in the trial involves the ordinary risks associated with introducing a new diet. To the extent permitted by South African law, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree that Barry's Premium Pets, its directors, employees and representatives will not be liable for illness, injury, loss or other harm arising from your dog's participation in the trial to the extent that such harm results from your failure to follow the trial instructions, failure to disclose relevant information about your dog, or an individual reaction or condition that could not reasonably have been anticipated from the information available to Barry's Premium Pets.
Nothing in this acknowledgement is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under South African law.
